About this photo: The stencil I posted about here has been almost entirely painted over by the city or by MnDOT - except for one heart there on the sidewalk, in the rain.

I thought it was a good image for this time, when men with guns make brutal and desperate attempts to paint over the truth.

This is a totally random reply but I saw your Tara icon in Dinosaur comics and then saw that Lama Tsering was one of your "interests" and that you lived in Minnesota. Were you able to go to her talk (or the empowerments) in Minneapolis in August?

I do like this picture though.

Glad you like it. Yes, I was at the empowerments. Were you? I was the longhaired bearded guy sitting near the front, to Lama Tsering's left.

She is wonderful!

I was... in the back with my foot up on a stool most of the time. I was on crutches then. I could only go on Saturday though. It would have been nice to be there on Sunday for the teachings. I'm still really glad she was able to come to Minnesota. It's much easier on us than going to Brazil!
